Ombak November 2025
A trailblazing month

Ombak November symbolises my transition from a full-time job to a new path I had chosen in life. During that time, I had left behind much of my progress and needed to quickly get back on track. The recovery began that November, it has been tough, but also fun.
Rewinding to 2nd January 2025, it was my first day at work. The office setup was so humble, with only a few pieces of furniture, just enough to accommodate engageful discussions. I was not alone there. My days were accompanied by the voices of Faizal Tahir, Zainal Abidin, Dr Maza, and a series of documentaries playing in the background.

At the very beginning of 2025, we had already prepared a full calendar of activities, including professional, student, and international series. We celebrated differences, worked flexibly with minimal tension, and I was always guided whenever I needed help. These are some pictures taken while working there, we engaged with many people from diverse backgrounds, though most of them were landscape architects.

Fast forward to 18th November 2025, it was my last day in the office. I feel truly fortunate to have worked with them. I was happy to create and share unforgettable moments together. I learned many valuable lessons, especially in organising events and seminars, which gave me greater exposure and expanded my social network locally and internationally. I would like to thank the regular part-time staff member, Cici, who often accompanied me in reading books during the mornings.

After November 2025, despite many errands to settle, I must return to my path and ensure my progress continues seamlessly. Like the ombak, the flow of life will never always be smooth and calm. Yet with creativity, perseverance, and intelligence, we learn to adapt, to improvise, and to steady ourselves through the turbulence. As baju melayu hijau masih disimpan, there is another life goal waiting to be fulfilled. Insha Allah.

I wish everyone the very best in life. Thank you so much.
In a nutshell, I realised that landscape architecture is not just about designing or consultancy work, it goes far beyond what we often expect.
